READ ALL ABOUT IT - THE NEW AIRDRIE-BATHGATE RAIL LINK SPRING NEWSLETTER
Thursday March 11, 2010
The Airdrie-Bathgate Rail Link Spring 2010 newsletter is out now. This is the first newsletter of 2010 and marks the countdown to the opening of the new line, in December this year.
Inside this new edition, we take a look at how activity is progressing along the new section of rail line and delve into some of the big numbers that make up this huge project - did you know, for example, that over the last year, 2.5 million man hours have been spent on the project?
Other newsletter highlights include a chat with Hugh Wark, the senior project manager. Hugh took a few minutes from managing the construction of the rail link to talk to us about his typical day in the 'People Behind the Project' section of the newsletter . We've also been speaking with line-side resident Stephen Dix this month. Stephen is a student at West Lothian College and has been telling us why he decided to dedicate a recent college project to the A-B project and how he will use the new line when it opens this year.
