HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE HAVE THE CHANCE TO SPEAK WITH AIRDRIE-BATHGATE PROJECT TEAM
Over 500 people got the chance to learn more about the Airdrie-Bathgate Rail Link last week at a successful public exhibition held at The Centre in Livingston.
The Airdrie-Bathgate communications team were on hand to answer questions and provide people with up-to-date information about the project and the benefits it will bring to local communities. They also handed out a host of branded goodies including balloons and reusable cotton shopping bags.
Graeme Elliott, Network Rail Communications Manager, said: “There was a fantastic response on the day and we were delighted to speak with so many people who will benefit from this new rail link. We’d like to say a big thank to all those who took an interest in the project and chatted with us.
“The event was one of many that we have held along the line of the route. We will be continuing to visit the local communities between Airdrie and Bathgate. Please keep an eye out on the YOUR page of our website for details of other meetings and exhibitions.”
The team handed out a huge number of newsletters and factsheets all of which are also available on our website on the Info page.
As always, we are keen to hear your views. If you were at The Centre in Livingston on the 22nd January and saw our exhibition, please email us at info@airdriebathgateraillink.co.uk and give us your feedback.
